Dilei Amaro, is an Amaro created by a historic distillery in Cuneo, Bordiga 1888.

Pietro Bordiga opened is the company in Cuneo in 1888 as well known herbalist concentrates his company in the production of Amari and Vermouth. Moving in Turin with all the family in the early 1880s, the daughter decides to marry the owner's son of the most famous in town, Caffe Dilei. The Amaro name comes in honour of the bar as a tribute. Here where Pietro decides to dedicate his life in the production of Vermouth di Turin, following an old recipe created in the city years before his arrival. After many years spent in Turin, Pietro decided to move back in his native town and opened his company, where it found himself carefully with the Mediterranean Sea and the Alps where he was able to get many herbs and botanicals as possible for his Amaro and Vermouth, such Chiot, Dilei own of the family in law and St Hubertus.

Dilei Amaro, it is an Alpine-style of bitter, the production process takes around four months, till the final blending takes place. Herbs in the Dilei Amaro include two types of gentian, achillea Erba-rotta, juniper, and white genepy. Absurdly pleasant and well balanced, this Amaro is particularly easy to appreciate. Light notes of honey, citrus, bitter orange, and tea, with a long light bitter finish.

The Amaro is excellent to be drunk neat, chilled, or directly from the freezer to appreciate all the flavour, taste, and aroma, but also it can be used in a cocktail with sparkling wine.
